What We Do Not Take On
We work on residential garage doors: torsion and extension springs, openers, tracks, rollers, cables, and panel sections. Most of the houses we get called to went up between 1965 and 1991, with the bulk from the 1960s and 70s stock spread across the named areas around Opelika. That means a lot of original hardware - steel sectional doors on torsion springs sized for a different era, openers that predate today's safety sensors, and track mounted to framing that's shifted a little over the decades.
We don't do commercial rolling steel doors, gate operators, or fence gates. We don't do new construction installs where the opening hasn't been framed yet - that's a builder's call, not ours. If a door is rusted through on the bottom panel and the frame underneath has gone soft, we'll tell you straight that a patch job isn't worth your money and a full door makes more sense than another repair bill in six months.
We also won't quote blind. A spring job sounds simple until we're standing in front of a door nobody's serviced since it was installed, and guessing at a price over the phone does nobody any favors.
How to Reach Us
Call us at (334) 234-9743. We're based at 2101 Executive Park Dr, Opelika, AL 36801, and we run our calls out of that address for jobs across the Opelika service area.
We also take calls from the smaller communities nearby - Loachapoka, about 13 miles out, Valley at 14 miles, Huguley at 15, La Fayette at 16, Lanett at 17, Notasulga at 18, and Camp Hill and Smiths Station both around 19 miles. If you're in one of those towns, say so when you call - distance affects how soon we can get there, and we'd rather tell you that up front than have you waiting on a truck that's still across town.
The phone is the fastest way to reach us. We don't run a live chat or a ticket system - someone answers, you describe what the door is doing, and we go from there.

Opelika's service area has roughly 11,241 households, about 6,300 of them owner-occupied houses
And the median household income sits around $45,493. That matters for how we quote work - we try to give people a real number instead of padding a job because we can.

The climate here is mild with occasional freezes
Which is easier on garage door hardware than a true cold-weather region, but it still means a spring that's been fine for years can snap on the one morning it drops below freezing. Metal contracts, grease stiffens, and a worn spring goes first.
Given the age of the housing stock, median build year around 1976
A good chunk of our calls are springs and openers original or close to original to the house. Parts for some older torsion setups aren't something we keep on every truck - if your hardware is unusual, that can mean a short wait on a part rather than a same-day fix. We'd rather tell you that than promise a timeline we can't hit.
